Thanks to Hollywood movies, creepy written fiction novels and DC Comics, everyone has heard of the infamous Banshee by now! The word conjures up images of an evil old woman, flying through the air, screeching her lungs out with blood-red eyes and a ghastly expression on her skeletal face!
